A two-minute action to feel better in one day!

Genesee Valley Indivisible is participating in a statewide call-in day on Monday, September 8th to all our NY Members of Congress on the government funding fight. Learn more about the appropriations process and why this is a key moment for our Senators in particular to leverage their power. It’s up to us to help them find their backbone in this fight, so make sure you make your easy, quick phone call alongside other Indivisibles across the state! Remember it takes only 15 calls on the same subject for it to be run up the flag poll to the legislator’s attention. 

If you just cannot make three 30-second calls on Monday, please do so before our weekly meeting on Thursday evening, September 11th.

Genesee Valley Indivisible is also signing onto a statewide letter to each of our Senators, which will be sent to their respective offices on Monday, September 8th, the same day as when we’ll all be making our calls.

We are asking, although it is with short notice, that we all make 3 phone calls during our statewide call-in day of action on Monday, September 8th. If you use the scripts at the links above, then each call should take only 30 seconds — less than 2 minutes of your time for an important cause! Remember that you may call either a NYS regional office or the DC office of your Representative and Senators, and voice messages count.
