EPA Concerns
The U.S. is proposing to rescind its 2009 Endangerment Finding regarding greenhouse gas emissions and their impact on public health and welfare. This proposed action would also lead to the repeal of existing greenhouse gas emission standards for various vehicle and engine categories. As the global temperature rises, weather patterns are exacerbated. Across our country millions are facing volatile weather, higher-than normal-temperatures, drought, more violent thunderstorms, flooding and hurricanes. Ignoring the crisis will only make it worse.
One way to fight this dangerous decision by the Trump administration is express your concern to members of the government by September 22. The online comment page where you can express your discontent with the EPA proposal is: https://www.regulations.gov/docket/EPA-HQ-OAR-2025-0194/comments

“The vast majority of climate scientists (97%) agree that humans are causing global warming and climate change. Nearly all science organizations agree with this science. Since 2009, when the EPA issued its Endangerment Finding for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, the evidentiary basis for endangerment from GHG emissions has only grown stronger. The impacts have become increasingly obvious to Americans suffering through more severe and more frequent storms, droughts, wildfires, and other extreme weather events.
The Trump administration has not offered any credible scientific evidence whatsoever to justify reconsidering the EPA’s findings. President Trump has, however, received considerable campaign funds from oil and coal executives. We need laws that will protect the nation and the world, not simply add to the coffers of a billionaire president. The correct decision cannot be any clearer: The Endangerment Finding must be kept in place.”
The more citizens who express their dissent about this issue, the more likely the EPA will not implement these changes.
