Genesee Valley Guardian

Issue 41.2 – October 9, 2025

Hello Fellow Genesee Valley Indivisible Members!
This link connects to the text of a letter crafted by several of our members opposing any collaboration between the Livingston County Sheriff and the Federal immigration enforcement agency called ICE. We are reaching out to Sheriff Dougherty to speak with him directly about our concerns. And two of our members have a meeting next week with David Lefeber (R-Avon), the Chairman of Livingston County’s Board of Supervisors. They will take a copy of this letter with them for this conversation. If you are a resident of Livingston County, and you support this effort to keep our local law enforcement focused on protecting our communities instead of enforcing federal immigration law, please click the link and add your name and signature to the letter.
Best regards,
Cindy Pond
