GVI's Constitution Lecture Series - The 14th Amendment

Our celebration of the 238th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution (on September 17, 1787) continues:
The 14th Amendment will be presented by Dr. Judith Hunter, a historian of the Civil War era. She will discuss the reasons for this amendment and its meaning, from birthright citizenship to Civil Rights law and protections. Dr. Hunter will also address the current regime's attempts to nullify this important addition to the U.S. Constitution.
Location: Large Meeting Room (Basement) of Wadsworth Public Library, Geneseo. Basement entry door on Second Street will be open.
