“STAND UP, FIGHT BACK!” RALLY REPORT
About 75 activists gathered in front of the Wyoming County Government Center in Warsaw, NY, for a rally against the Trump Regime. The event was organized by WyCoNY Indivisible with the theme “Earth Day” (April 22nd). Many of the signs and all of the chants were calling out how the Trump Regime is failing to protect our land, water, and air. We can see this in opening national lands to mineral and timber exploitation, encouraging the production and use of fossil fuels while discouraging investment in renewable energy sources such as wind and solar.
On Wednesday join us in celebrating Earth Day and adding our voices of resistance to demand a science-based approach to climate change and environmental degradation.
Here is how:
Join a phone banking project with the Environmental Voter Project. They are a nonpartisan, nonprofit focused on identifying an estimated 11.2 million environmentalists who did not vote in the 2024 presidential election, and efficiently converting them into a critical mass of consistent voters that will soon be too big for politicians to ignore.
