Trump has failed with immigration

Yes, Trump tightened up border security, but he accomplished this goal by violating the constitution and using ICE in ways that, like it or not, are akin to the Gestapo.

Undocumented immigrants, legal immigrants and even some citizens ended up in jails across the country, often without due process. Brutal ICE agents physically overreacted far too many times and the scenes of their thuggery are portrayed across the internet and news stations. Regrettably, these shameful scenes are also indelibly imprinted unto the memories of young and old. This year, overzealous ICE agents have started to use guns on civilians.

So, how do the most recent presidents stand on removing illegal immigrants? President Obama deported 3.2 million illegal immigrants. During Biden’s administration, 3.4 million were removed. During Trump’s first term 1.4 million were removed and 1.6 million were removed in 2025. So, all three presidents removed staggering numbers of illegal immigrants.

Now, here’s the difference. The National Guard was not called up by Obama or Biden to support ICE. There were no mass demonstrations against ICE during Democratic administrations. There were no shootings of citizens. The number of citizen deaths? Zero.

Trump? He forced the National Guard into states and cities without the advice and consent of the governors and the mayors. There have already been hundreds of massive protests against the draconian tactics of Trump’s ICE agents. This year, there are already at least three shootings into and around citizens. The number of citizen deaths? Tragically two. Clearly Democrats are far more responsible at handling the immigration problem than Trump and his Gestapo-like ICE agents.

Trump’s success at the border has been eclipsed by Nazi-like tactics in America. Once again, Trump has failed America.
