It’s time to SAVE our Capitol

The SAVE Act was designed to eliminate a bogus problem…stopping illegal immigrants from voting.

The Heritage Foundation, a conservative group, catalogued all the incidences of undocumented immigrants casting a ballot from 1999 to 2023. During the entirety of those 24 years there were only 10 cases. Over that period of time over a billion votes were registered. That is a percentage of 0.00001%.

Despite what Trump and other Republicans claim, undocumented immigrants present no threat to our elections. So, there is no need to make voting more difficult by requiring voter ID.

Now, what we should do is require all Republicans to swear, in a court of law, that they would never violate our Capitol building. So, before they can vote, they would have to show certification of their loyalty to America.

Why do this? Because we know that 1,500 Trump Republicans were convicted of crimes in violating our Capitol. Now, there are 38 million Republicans in America.

So, the number of known violators of the law was 0.004%. A far more significant percentage than those pesky undocumented immigrants voting in our elections.

Let’s called it the SOC act…Save Our Capitol.
