Can anyone justify those crazy budget numbers?

It just keeps getting worse.

For next year’s budget, President Trump wants 40% more for the Department of War. Presently our military budget already EXCEEDS the military spending of the next NINE highest spending countries COMBINED! That includes Russia and China, by the way. Is there anyone except Trump and his sycophants who can justify such an obscene increase?

Obviously, this ridiculously high War Department increase would necessarily raise the National Debt. No worry. The White House asked Congress to slash domestic spending by an additional 10%. So, Trump would be taking money from FEMA, weather monitoring, training new teachers, and vital research looking for cures for diseases. The most severe cuts occur in programs directly helping Americans afford their heating and cooling bills, manage their medical problems and enable the poor and even the middle class to get sufficient nourishment. Even with those draconian cuts, the National Debt would still be raised by trillions.

The silver lining? The expanded military will have an easier time “protecting” starving, freezing Americans who have less access to medical care. And, we now have sufficient funds to fight NATO as we take over Greenland.
