National Day of Action
Dear Friend of Democracy,
We hope you will be able to join us in Batavia at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility this Sunday, November 2, to protest inhumane behavior by ICE agents.
This is part of a nationwide effort to let our leaders know we will not stand by as families are disappeared, rights are dismantled, and democracy itself is eroded. The Disappeared in America Weekend of Action is a nationwide mobilization to defend our shared values of dignity, freedom, and justice for all.
The protest runs from 12 noon to 1:30 pm. Please arrive early to give you time to find our group and gather.

Parking may pose a challenge. We recommend carpooling. Some may wish to park on Federal Drive leading up to the Detention Facility. Or you can arrange with others to meet up in the Target plaza on the other side of the Thruway and shuttle from there. More details will be available after you register.
