Trump has failed with immigration
Yes, Trump tightened up border security, but he accomplished this goal by violating the constitution and using ICE in ways that, like it or not, are akin to the Gestapo.
Undocumented immigrants, legal immigrants and even some citizens ended up in jails across the country, often without due process. Brutal ICE agents physically overreacted far too many times and the scenes of their thuggery are portrayed across the internet and news stations. Regrettably, these shameful scenes are also indelibly imprinted unto the memories of young and old. This year, overzealous ICE agents have started to use guns on civilians.

Tenney has failed her constituents
For over a year, I called and E-mailed Representative Tenney’s office, urging her to take action because the ACA subsidies were set to expire at the end of 2025. Her silence was deafening. Instead, she voted to pass the “One Big Beautiful Bill” that gives away $2.3 trillion in tax cuts for the richest 10 percent of Americans, causes almost 11 million Americans to lose health insurance, and adds $3.4 trillion to our nation’s debt over the next decade.
After the longest government shutdown in U.S. history failed to persuade Republicans to extend the ACA subsidies last year, there were 18 Republican representatives, including 3 from New York, that voted “yes” this year to extending the subsidies as part of the “Breaking the Gridlock Act.” The 3 from New York did not include Ms. Tenney, who voted against it. She stated the reason for her “no” vote was that “Obamacare failed from the beginning.” Ms. Tenney and Republicans have attacked the ACA since it’s inception, but for 16 years now they have failed to come up with any alternative.

Trump acting like the American bully
As ever, Trump is mimicking his good friend, Putin and his fascist father, Hitler. The invasion of Ukraine by Putin, the invasion of Poland by Hitler and the invasion of Venezuela by Trump were acts of aggression against countries with which Russia, Germany and America were not at war.
Like Hitler and Putin, Trump is putting his country on the wrong side of international relationships. Make no mistake, history will condemn all three.
Spineless Republicans are rallying around their dictator. House Speaker Mike Johnson called the military action in Venezuela a “justified operation that will protect American lives.” Wow!

October rallies filled with democratic ideals
Our Livingston County’s, Saturday, 18 October rallies were brimming with democratic ideals. Most were pro-US Constitutional (thus No Kings) & safe, sensible and sane feelings. We attended three “we love the US celebrations” in our county villages at 10 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m.

Rep. Tenney slashes medical help
Representative Tenney visited Noyes hospital in Dansville, one of the hospitals presently on the cutting block due to the Big “Beautiful” Bill.
During her unannounced (to the public) visit, she outright lied claiming “Democrats are pushing to slash $50 billion from the Rural Health Transformation Program, created in President Trump’s Working Families Tax Cuts.”
Here are the facts. Democrats want guarantees from Republicans that Americans don’t have to pay more for their health insurance. The Big “Beautiful” Bill is reducing the amount of federal money going into Medicaid. Further, BBB will reduce the number of Americans who are eligible for Medicaid.

Claudia Tenney needs to help us
Claudia Tenney, our Representative in Congress, is supposed to represent us. Instead, she is jackboot marching behind President Trump.
Earlier this year she voted to cut subsidies for healthcare and school lunches when she exuberantly supported the Big “Beautiful” Bill. These cuts will primarily endanger children, the elderly and the disabled.
Tenney also supports Trump in reducing or eliminating government programs that help all New Yorkers. These include the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that protects us from poisons in the air and the water. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) was reduced by 30% threatening the long-term observation weather patterns and hurricanes.

Time to repair our divided states of America
“A house divided against itself cannot stand.” Abraham Lincoln famously said this as part of his 1858 speech at the Illinois Republican convention. Right now, about the only thing Americans can agree on is how severely divided we are as a nation.
At a time when our country was engaged in a brutal civil war and had an uncertain future, President Lincoln demonstrated great temperament and leadership that kept our government and our Union together. But, whereas Lincoln is known as the “Great Uniter”, our current president has become known as the “Great Divider.”

True Americans are all Antifa!
President Trump has been attacking ANTIFA. “I am pleased to inform our many U.S.A. Patriots that I am designating ANTIFA, A SICK, DANGEROUS, RADICAL LEFT DISASTER, AS A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. I will also be strongly recommending that those funding ANTIFA be thoroughly investigated.”
There is no antifa organization. It is simply an abbreviation for being anti-fascist. Before, during and after World War II patriotic Americans were all anti-fascist. Especially the 413,000 brave patriots who gave up their lives to fight fascism. There were all antifa.

President should set an example and change the rhetoric
After the tragic death of Charlie Kirk, President Trump stated “It’s long past time for all Americans and the media to confront the fact that violence and murder are the tragic consequence of demonizing those with whom you disagree.”
